200 raised and lowered dots arranged in a bending form.

Spinach Bend translates the proportions of spinach into a textile structure. Each of the 200 dots represents 0.5% of the whole: 2% protein, 0% fat, 1% carbohydrates and 97% other content. The dots are arranged in a bending composition, turning the data into a physical pattern.

Hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, the rug uses five green tones and different pile heights. Lighter colors have higher pile, while darker colors are lower, making the composition tactile as well as visual.
