400 raised and lowered dots turning the proportions of a cashew into an organic gradient.

Cashew Organic translates the nutritional composition of a cashew into a textile structure. Each of the 400 dots represents 0.25% of the whole: 15% protein, 46% fat, 26% carbohydrates and 13% other content. The dots gradually change in color and pile height, creating an organic transition across the surface.

Hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, the rug uses five yellow-brown tones. Lighter colors have higher pile, while darker colors are lower, making the composition readable through both color and touch.
