200 raised and lowered dots translating the proportions of wheat into an ordered pattern.

Wheat Bran In Order turns nutritional data into a textile structure. Each of the 200 dots represents 0.5% of the whole: 17% protein, 5% fat, 30% carbohydrates and 48% other content. The dots are arranged in an alternating order, while color and pile height change with the data.

Hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, the rug uses five brown tones and different pile heights. Lighter colors have higher pile, while darker colors are lower, making the nutritional proportions physical as well as visual.
