A handwoven cushion cover made from cotton shoelaces, based on the clam from the Food collection.
Shoelaces Clam translates the clam's nutritional proportions into the material language of the Food collection. The surface is woven from cotton shoelaces rather than conventional yarn, giving the cushion a distinct texture and turning an everyday object into the material of the work.
Handwoven in 100% cotton shoelaces, the cover measures 45 × 60 cm. Use a 50 × 70 cm down filling for a full fit.
