600 raised and lowered dots forming a field of triangles from the proportions of a blueberry.

Blueberry Triangle translates the nutritional composition of blueberries into a textile structure. Each of the 600 dots represents approximately 0.167% of the whole: 1% protein, 1% fat, 9% carbohydrates and 89% other content. The triangle pattern turns these proportions into a visual field of changing color and pile height.

Hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, the rug uses five purple tones and different pile heights to make the information physical and tactile. Lighter colors have higher pile, while darker colors are lower.
