Raspberry Random translates the proportions of a raspberry into a textile structure. Each of the 200 dots represents 0.5% of the whole: 1% protein, 1% fat, 4% carbohydrates and 94% other content. Because the nutritional proportions are heavily weighted toward the final category, the dots are distributed as a deliberately random field.

Hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, the rug uses five pink tones and different pile heights. Lighter colors have higher pile, while darker colors are lower, making the composition physical as well as visual.
